"Having retired recently, I wanted to make purposeful use of my time and skills to help the local community. The Yews is a vital organisation locally and helps lots of people, and the team, staff and volunteers, are a positive and cheerful bunch. The volunteer role is also very flexible which means I can fit it in around other commitments and activities."

Brighton Housing Trust - Gardening Support Group

Every fortnight the Brighton Housing Trust – Gardening Support Group meets at the Yews and volunteer their time to help us keep the gardens and planters beautiful

Volunteers - Corporate

We provide a home for local charities, support groups, and small businesses, and host events that bring our local community together. To do this, we need your support. Could your company:

  • Sponsor one of our fundraising events?
  • Lend us your skills, experience, and services to keep serving our community?
  • Provide prizes for our events, raffles, and quizzes?
  • Donate an item from our Yews Wish List?

We appreciate the value that our supporters provide, and regularly recognise their support in our newsletter, on social media, and at our community fundraising events. Recent supporters have helped us redesign our website, redecorate the Yews, and maintain its garden.
